If we have a choice for animal/plant – we could make all the animals look black (made from ink), while making all of the plants look white (made from paper).
Plant creatures could be designed to look like scrunched up pieces of paper – and would be able to be eaten, like trees.
‘Grass’, on the otherhand – could just be A4 sized sheets of white paper that lie flat on the table, and slowly get eaten up with little bite marks.
